To be a participant in the Wines of South Africa Sommelier Cup you will need to currently work in the wine industry or restaurant trade in the country where the semi-final is being held.

The organisers reserve the right to determine the eligibility of participation of any entrant.

By entering the Sommelier Cup you agree to abide by the rules of the competition.

Qualify:
I am currently in full-time employment as a sommelier in the wine trade in my country of residence.
If I were to win my country round I will be able to attend the finals in the South Africa from the 7th to 13th October 2013.
I agree that the organisers of the event have the right to determine eligibility of the applications to participate.
I agree to abide by the rules of the games and hereby give the organisers the right to publish my details on the website and in the press releases.
I understand and agree that the competition will be conducted in English

* Previous 2010 semi-finalists are exempt from entering the 2013 competition. This will be wavered from 2014 onwards.
